Mobile Child Restraint fitting Cost
A small service fee is added to the mobile child restraint fitting service to cover time and fuel etc for when Pete is travelling to your chosen destination. Please note, however, that the service fee is removed for three or more car seat fittings. You may also consider having Pete bring his mobile child restraint fitting service to your mothers group? Substantial discounts apply for all participants though a minimum of four clients is needed to make this viable for Pete. For you, however, being the host, your child restraint fitting is FREE. For all other child restraint fittings, the cost is discounted from $40 to $35 and includes a gated buckle and anchor point if required. For more information on this offer, please call Pete directly. Pete has been professionally working as a child restraint fitter in Melbourne for over fifteen years. Originally receiving all of his training with Baby Bunting, Pete then went on to work part-time with the store chain for over ten years whilst simultaneously running his own successful mobile child restraint fitting business. Still offering this service to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Pete also offers the option for clients to come to his home in Blackburn to have their child restraints fitted. This reduces the cost for the client as the service fee associated with a mobile child restraint fitting is removed.
As a father of four, Pete is extremely passionate about what he does. As a result, he offers the following advice:
- Always have your first car seat fitted by an experienced accredited installer. This provides the parent/carer with a benchmark level and education of what is expected pertaining to correct installation and ongoing use of the restraint.
- Angles are extremely important for newborns. Ensure your car seat fitter uses a gauge to check this during the installation process.
- Don’t know what to buy? Manufacturers can offer financial incentives in the retail industry for sales people. This creates favouritism towards some products. Ask a car seat fitter for non bias advice on what best suits your needs. Fitters know best!
Multiple seats in the car? Ask a fitter, fitters know best!
What Pete will do:
Pete will be honest, courteous, punctual and will always clean up after himself.
What Pete won’t do:
In some instances certain combinations of child restraints and cars just aren’t compatible. If Pete has the smallest doubt that this may be the case, he will not fit your child restraint.
Pete’s golden rule: ‘If he won’t put his own child in a restraint then he won’t put yours in either’ In some instances he has no choice but to walk away from a job — A tough decision but without doubt… the right one.
